I/W/W/B

The Internet is a global network of connected computers that helps communication and information exchange between individuals. Additionally, the World Wide Web (WWW) is a system of linked documents that can be accessed online, and it was created in 1990 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee so that individuals (especially scientists) could share information. The World Wide Web is a system/place for gaining access to information, while the Internet is the overarching network; however, they work together, and WWW is considered a subset of the Internet. Berners-Lee created the first website in 1991, which is no longer accessible. Hedy Lamarr, a celebrity, developed frequency-hopping technology during WWII, forming the basis of Wi-Fi. Additionally, Johnny Depp wrote “This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr,” which is an ode to the inventor and actress. Bluetooth was developed by Intel, Ericsson, and Nokia in 1996 and named after Harald Gormsson, a Danish king from the 10th century. The logo combines the Nordic letters H and B. Lastly, the IEEE developed Wi-Fi networks in 1997; their original name was Wireless Fidelity. The technology allows wireless networking by using radio waves.
